Affiliate: A person or company promoting another company's product in exchange for commission on sales or leads via their referral link.

Affiliate ID: A unique 5-6 digit code assigned by Glitchy, used to track sales, leads, and traffic for accurate commission attribution.

Affiliate Link: A unique URL that tracks the traffic and sales generated by an affiliate for the merchant.

Conversion Rate: The percentage of visitors who take the desired action, like making a purchase, from the total visitors.

Click-Through Rate (CTR): The percentage of people clicking on a link, ad, or email from the total who viewed it.

CPA (Cost Per Action): A commission structure where the advertiser pays when a visitor completes an action (e.g., purchase or sign-up).

CPM (Cost Per Thousand Impressions): The cost an advertiser pays for every 1,000 views of their ad.

Earnings Per Click (EPC): The average amount of money earned for each click on an affiliate link.

Landing Page: A dedicated webpage created specifically for marketing or advertising purposes, aimed at converting visitors into leads or customers by encouraging a specific action. Also referred to as a bridge page.

Offer: The product, service, or promotion marketed through the affiliate program.

Commission: Payment an affiliate receives for driving a sale or lead, often a percentage of the sale or a fixed amount.

Advertiser: The company or organization owning the product or service promoted through affiliate marketing (merchant or brand).

Affiliate Network: A third-party platform connecting affiliates and merchants, offering tools to track sales, clicks, and commissions.

Impressions: The number of times an ad, link, or offer is displayed to potential customers.

Lead: A potential customer who has shown interest by submitting contact details or taking another action.

Offer Page: A webpage where potential customers can learn about and purchase the product promoted by the affiliate.

Conversion Funnel: The steps a customer takes from being a visitor to becoming a paying customer.

Performance Metrics: Data like CTR, EPC, and conversion rate, used to track campaign success.

Revenue Share: A commission structure where affiliates earn a percentage of revenue generated from their referrals.

Split Testing (A/B Testing): Testing two or more ad, email, or landing page variations to see which performs better.

Spark: A moment or action that grabs potential customers' attention and gets them excited or engaged. It might be a catchy ad, an eye-catching landing page, or a great offer that motivates them to take action. Creating these sparks is key to turning interest into sales and making your affiliate marketing efforts more successful.

Retargeting: Online advertising targeting users who previously visited a site or interacted with an ad but didn’t convert.

Unique Visitors: The number of distinct individuals visiting a site or clicking an affiliate link during a specific period.

Lifetime Value (LTV): The total revenue a business expects from a customer over their relationship's lifetime.

Creative: Visual or textual content (e.g., images, videos, ad copy) used to engage audiences and promote products or services in marketing campaigns.

Organic Ads: Unpaid content appearing naturally in search results or social media feeds, relying on SEO and engagement for visibility.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Optimizing a site to rank higher in search engine results, increasing organic visibility.

Paid Ads: Ads affiliates pay for to appear in search results, social media, or other platforms to drive traffic or conversions.

Custom Sources Tracking: A method of tracking personalized content (ads, landing pages) using unique URLs or parameters to measure performance, engagement, and conversions. It helps identify the most effective sources for driving traffic and sales.

Proxy: A server that acts as an intermediary between a user's device and the internet, allowing users to hide their IP address, bypass geo-restrictions, or access content anonymously by routing traffic through the proxy server.

VPN (Virtual Private Network): A tool that keeps your internet connection private and secure by encrypting your data and sending it through a remote server. It hides your IP address, giving you more privacy and protection while browsing online.

Domain: The address or name used to identify a website on the internet, such as example.com. It consists of a name and a domain extension (like .com, .org, or .net).

CTAs (Call to Actions): Prompts or buttons on a webpage or in content designed to encourage users to take a specific action, such as making a purchase, signing up for a service, or accessing more information. CTAs guide visitors towards completing a desired goal or conversion, often resulting in engagement or conversions.
